We hope that you all have a wonderful break over the next couple of weeks. Some of you will be working on assignments or dissertations, so we wish you a productive time as well as some time for relaxation.
And, though it may be cold in Edinburgh just now, there’s a very warm welcome for newcomers to the Hub, who’ll be starting with Introduction to Digital Environments for Learning (IDEL) in January.
We’ve had a great year in Digital Education, especially as we celebrated the MSc programme’s 10th birthday at the end of November. At the same time, there was a party to launch the new Centre for Research in Digital Education which involves people from the programme as well as other researchers in the field. Find out more at our new website – http://www.de.ed.ac.uk/
If you haven’t chosen your course for next semester yet, there are still places on Digital education in global context, and Learning analytics: process and theory. Sign up in our Moodle programme site
We have just heard that one of our graduates, Hugh O’Donnell, has recently published an article based on his dissertation. You can see this – and other student publications from the programme – on our public website. We’re always happy to hear of such publications; do let us know.
Finally, it’s time for the annual reminder of the EUSA teaching awards. Many thanks to those who’ve voted for the programme or individual teachers in the past; we really appreciate your support and wear our badges with pride.
Look forward to seeing you in January 2016.
Christine
