Enjoy the break!

256px-happy_holidaysAs we come to the end of another busy year, we hope that you find time to give yourself a well-earned break – even if you do have an assignment or dissertation to think about!

A very warm welcome to our new cohort who will be joining us in January. We’re very pleased to have you on board and we look forward to seeing you in An Introduction to Digital Environments for Learning (IDEL).

Our new semester begins on 16 January 2017 and your courses will be open from 9 January.  If you have not yet signed up for one, you can still do so at https://www.moodle.is.ed.ac.uk/course/view.php?id=131 You might want to check out the relevant handbooks which you’ll find in the links to the left.

We’ve been asked by the Edinburgh University Students Association (EUSA) to remind you about the annual Teaching Awards.  Thanks to all who have nominated us in the past – we’ve had a lot of nominations for our tutors and courses and in last academic year we had a winner!  Sian won the award for Best Dissertation Supervisor.  To vote in this year’s campaign, go to https://www.eusa.ed.ac.uk/representation/campaigns/teachingawards/

So, whether you’re just joining us for the first time, coming to the end of your studies, or taking one of our optional courses next semester, everyone in the Digital Education team wishes you a very happy holiday and we look forward to seeing you in 2017.
